We really enjoyed last nights At the Movies presentation of the Lion King. The relation of the prodigal son and the movie was something I missed when I saw the Lion King years ago. Our Heavenly Father is always available and waiting on us to come to Him. No matter what our past may be. It is one step we will never regret.

I really enjoyed Hidden Numbers At The Movies presentation last week. I had never heard of the movie or the facts about what it was about. I watched it twice. Honestly I just found this blog today. Sorry to say... but what a help it will be. I will be asking others to check it out if they have not. Looking forward to tonight's service with my wife Linda, her son, and his 7 year old son, and Linda's mom. Wow! Faith Promise Church rocks!!! God bless.

I am glad I found this message, this Church at this time in my life. You may ask why, I will tell you. I'm almost gave up on life by ending it all. I can highly recommend having a Stephen Minister. When I was in my dark valley she held my hand, helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel, and prayed prayed prayed for me. She gave me concrete actions I could take to help me change my negative thoughts into positive ones, such as rewriting some of the negative speeches I had playing in my head.

Amen! My husband and I often talk about the importance of fathers in this world today for all children, but the impact of father's with their daughters, as you said, it's hard to articulate that importance. It's serious. Thanks for your post and your understanding and awareness!! We've been reading a new book (actually "renewed", or re-released) I think you and every daddy with a daughter would like. It aligns with what you're saying. It's called "She Calls Me Daddy: 7 Things You Need to Know About Building a Complete Daughter," by Robert Wolgemuth. The original book came out in the 90s, a best seller, and now his grown girls have added their input. Really unique and I highly recommend it! Blessings!

One that helped me was not to give up if I forgot a day! I always had major problems making bible reading a priority until I did the 21 Day Daniel fast. That was my turning point and somehow that mental block was removed.
